This rendering was created as a personal study exploring minimalist form, material simplicity, and the role of natural light in architectural composition. Inspired by a reference photograph of a sunlit modern home, the image investigates how pure geometry and surface texture can interact with the desert sun to create a sculptural, atmospheric presence.
The design draws influence from Palm Springs’ distinctive architectural heritage—white stucco massing, sharp volumetric shadows, and restrained window placement evoke a sense of calm, intentional space. Though not tied to a specific built project, the scene was modeled and rendered from scratch to explore key elements of desert-modern design language, including solar orientation, proportion, and contextual planting.
This visualization was part of an ongoing series of material, lighting, and compositional studies, created to refine technique and expand my architectural rendering portfolio. While rooted in a real-world reference, the process allowed for interpretation and iteration, ultimately producing an image that blends inspiration with authorship.
Ideal for clients or collaborators seeking elegant, light-forward renderings for modern residential concepts, especially in high-desert or sun-heavy environments.
